aproximam-se agora de terra na sequência  dos fenómenos de arrojamento de krill, registados no início de  Fevereiro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As &lt;b&gt;baleias-azuis&lt;/b&gt; (Baleonoptera musculus) são os maiores animais  existentes no planeta, podendo atingir 27 metros de comprimento e 120  toneladas de peso e, curiosamente, alimentam-se de um dos mais pequenos  (os pequenos camarões, designados por krill).&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esta espécie de &lt;b&gt;baleia&lt;/b&gt; está em perigo de extinção, estimando-se que a  sua população mundial oscile entre o 6 mil e os 14 mil indivíduos.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt; As &lt;b&gt;baleias-azuis&lt;/b&gt; deverão ficar no arquipélago dos Açores até ao final  de Abril, sendo progressivamente substituídas pelas também majestáticas  &lt;b&gt;baleias-comuns&lt;/b&gt;
